Mitchell Sports Cards was founded in 2025 by Mitchell Green, a high school student from St. Catharines, Ontario. What began as a school entrepreneurship project — coded entirely by Mitchell himself, working late nights in his mom's basement — quickly grew into something far bigger than any classroom assignment.
Mitchell's love for sports cards started young. He saw an opportunity that no one else had seized: a single, world-class destination where collectors everywhere could buy, sell, and grade cards with complete confidence. So he built it himself — from the database to the design, every line of code written by hand.
Today, Mitchell Sports Cards ships to collectors in over 120 countries. Mitchell personally oversees every aspect of the business — authentication, customer service, grading submissions, and new inventory — bringing the same passion and attention to detail that launched the company from a basement in Ontario to a global stage.
